Outcome:

This was the most popular and effective campaigns I was ever involved with at Softek. We used it in print, web, social, and even created a life-size stand-up cut out of Bat Boy to take to trade shows. After it was stolen several times at the trade shows, we decided to raffle it off at the end of each show.

Product Awareness Campaign

Client: Softek Solutions, Inc.

Challenge:

The IT staff responsible for the maintenance at hospitals using the Cerner Electronic Medical Record software regularly had to troubleshoot issues within the system; however, they had no tools to identify the root cause of the problem, and this made it very time-consuming. We often heard them say, “it must be a ghost in the machine” causing the trouble.

Softek’s flagship product, Panther, was created to bring visibility to the entire “back-end” of the Cerner system allowing the IT staff to quickly identify and correct the root cause of these severe issues.

One of the product promotions we did was to take this idea of an unknown entity causing the problem and push it to the extreme using outrageous images and claims such as you might see in a supermarket tabloid.

With no way to pinpoint the root cause for the trouble, it might as well be attributed to some malevolent entity.

As part of this campaign we created one page flyers to hand out at trade shows. Each handout had a reverse side with product information.
